We present two fresh new talents in their CJC band-leading debuts.

Hank Trenton is a young bassist who has a strong passion for jazz. He presents a set of music with some of his favourite musicians. A mix of originals and some of his favourite jazz tunes.

Hank has had the privilege of working with many New Zealand jazz legends. The group are excited to play and cannot wait for the opportunity to perform together.

Cameron Kelso’s
Voidfish Quartet

After 3 years of study under the exceptional musicians at Auckland University, and a further two years of turbulence and musical exploration, Cameron is ready to bring his nautical-themed group to the CJC stage. This “Voidfish Quartet” draws inspiration from the vast, bizarre mystery that is the deep ocean, as well as material from each player, who are delighted to share their diverse, eclectic sound with you.
