Two young talents make their band-leader debut at CJC.
DANIEL WATERSON QUARTET
Daniel recently finished his Honours music degree at the University of Auckland. His drumming blends fresh elements of groove, jazz, funk, soul and Indo-jazz into an inspiring and captivating experience. Playing alongside some of Auckland’s best upcoming talents, Daniel will put a groove in your step and leave you wanting more.

WIL GOODINSON SEPTET
Aptly described as “Auckland’s hottest type 1 diabetic bass player”, Wil is a recent graduate of the University of Auckland Jazz school, where he studied with Roger Manins, Kevin Haines and Oli Holland. Showing appreciation to the lower register instruments, this unorthodox instrumentation features both jazz and classical musicians and Wil is excited to present his compositions to a local audience.
