An exciting new project from Melbourne-based pianist, Matt Steele - Cozy Gauzy is jazz conceived with warmth and intimacy at its core spiked with an unshakable sense of adventure and dialogue.
This iteration of the band features beloved NZ vibraphonist John Bell with the fabulous rhythm section of Eamon Edmundson-Wells on bass and Stephen Thomas on drums.
Focusing on the vibrant original compositions of the band members, Cozy Gauzy also covers music from jazz luminaries such as Lonnie Liston Smith and Pharoah Sanders.
